B. Clip, a dark blue steel binder clip with big eyes and a small smile, its wire handles raised.

BlenderMCP

Ask Claude for changes from Blender's own sidebar, or connect any MCP client to the Blender you're running. Either way it reads your scene, builds and edits objects, and asks before running code. Several clients and people can share one scene.

Chat inside Blender

Press N in the 3D Viewport and open the BlenderMCP tab. Type what you want, and Claude works on the scene you have open, with the same tools any MCP client gets. No second app, no copy and paste.

  • While it works B. Clip shows each step

Select objects first and they go along with your message. The clip in the input row shows how many.

The Chat panel mid-turn. The request reads "Put a gold sphere on top of the selected tower", B. Clip, the binder clip mascot, shows "Thinking, step 1, 4 seconds", and the input row shows one object clipped.
  • Before any Python Code waits for your Allow

Anything that runs Python shows you the code first. Walk away and it declines itself.

The Chat panel asking "The assistant wants to run this Python", with the first lines of the code, a note that it declines itself in about 88 seconds, and Allow and Deny buttons.
  • After every reply One click undoes it

Each change is one Ctrl+Z step, and Undo reverses a whole reply at once.

The Chat panel after the reply "Done. Tower 4 (the center bar) is now orange with a strong glow effect", headed "Claude, 2 steps, 7.70 seconds", with an "Undo last chat change (1 step)" button.
